Product description and product name
Industrial safety helmet "3M™ Industrial Safety Helmet G3000 & G3001", in compliance with
EN 397:2012. This certificate covers a number of models as can be seen in page 2 of this
certificate.

The manufacturer's technical file, latest dated 2014-01-15.
Certification
SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden hereby certifies that the manufacturer's technical file
and the product have been inspected and found to fulfil the requirements set out in Directive
89/686/EEC, Article 10.The certification is verified by a type test in accordance with EN 397.
The product also complies with additional requirements in EN 397, as can be seen in appendix.
Some models are also type tested, and fulfils the requirements, according to EN 50365:2002,
see page 2.
Miscellaneous
The manufacturer's information in English on use, cleaning, storage etc. has been inspected and
found to fulfil the relevant requirements of the Directive. This information must be available in
the language used where the product is to be sold.
Validity
This certificate was first issued on 1 i h October 2003. The certificate remains valid as long as
the conditions laid down in the harmonised standard(s) in reference are not modified
significantly or at the latest until 31st January 2019.
It is a prerequisite that manufactured products, carrying the additional "440Vac" marking, must
be inspected in accordance with Article 11 of the directive 89/686/EEC. It is also a prerequisite
that products fulfilling the requirements in EN 50365:2002 are subjected to a quality assurance
plan as specified in EN 50365.

AFS 1996:07, latest amended by AFS 2011:05. Swedish Notified Bodies are appointed by
SWEDAC, the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment, under the terms
of Swedish legislation. This certificate may not be reproduced other than in full, except with the
prior written approval by SP.
