B.1

Shut the isolating valve below the air valve.

B.2 Unscrew the bolts (2) that connect the

valve cover (3) to its body (9).

B.3 Wash the body , the screen and the cover in

clean water in order to remove coarse

grime or accumulated scale.

B.4 Check body & cover coating for rust points.

Recoat if necessary

B.5 Reinstall

in reverse order and fasten and

tighten all bolts.

A.1 The air valve will be

mounted on a riser,

connected to the top of the

pipe.

Open the isolating valve beneath the air

valve.

A.2 An isolating valve will be

installed below the air

valve.

Check body & cover coating for rust points. Recoat if necessary Reinstall in reverse order and fasten and tighten all bolts. Open the isolating valve beneath the air valve.
