It consists of two metal pins and a small metal clip (often protected by a plastic cover) that slides over the pins to connect them. To “close” a jumper you connect the pins with the clip. A user password does not provide access to many of the features in the Setup utility. If you highlight these items and press Enter, a dialog box appears which lets you enter a password. You can enter no more than six letters or numbers. Press Enter after you have typed in the password.
