138 Maintenance
Replacing the IP55 auxiliary cooling fan of frames R8 and R9
WARNING! Obey the safety instructions, page 14. Ignoring the instructions
can cause physical injury or death, or damage to the equipment.
1. Disconnect the drive from the power line. Lock the main disconnecting device and
ensure by measuring that there is no voltage.
2. Remove the IP55 front cover.
3. Remove the lower front cover from the IP55 cover.
4. Unplug the fan power supply wires.
5. Remove the fan.
6. Install the new fan in reverse order. Make sure that the arrow on the fan points up.
7. Reset the counter in group 5 in the primary control program.
