What this chapter contains
This chapter briefly describes the operation principle and construction of the drive.
Product overview
The ACS880-01 is a drive for controlling asynchronous AC induction motors,
permanent magnet synchronous motors, AC induction servomotors and ABB
synchronous reluctance motors (SynRM motors) with option +N7502. The main
cooling air fan of the drive is speed controlled and the auxiliary cooling fan on/off
controlled.
