Step 4:
When the UV is in its final position the top
flange should be under the shingles, and
the bottom flange should be on top of
the shingles to ensure drainage.
Step 5:
Required screw #10 x 1.5” steel sheet metal
screw. With the vent in place secure the flange
to the shingle roof using a screw gun or drill. All
installation screws are placed at 1” from edge.
Number of screws required: 17
Step 6:
This is how the vent should look when
installed.
Note: If installating multiple vents on roof
each vent should be placed at least
12 inches apart.
