TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM ACTION
Compressor not running Check the circuit breaker to make sure no fuses are blown
Check that power cord is plugged in
Make sure thermostat is not set too high
Make sure cabinet is not in defrost cycle
Condenser runs for long
periods of time
Ensure doors are closed.
Make sure gaskets are installed correctly and are clean.
Make sure condenser coil is clean
Make sure evaporator coil is not iced over
Make sure that the thermostat is not set to cold.
Make sure that the door gasket is creating a proper seal.
Cabinet temperature is too
warm
Make sure thermostat is not set too warm
Make sure air flow is not blocked.
Make sure there is at least four inches of clearance from
evaporator
Check circuit breaker to make sure fuse isn’t blown
Make sure the condenser coil is clean
Ensure doors are closed.
Make sure evaporator coil is not iced over
Make sure that the door gasket is creating a proper seal.
Cabinet is noisy Look to make sure there are no loose parts
Make sure tubing isn’t vibrating
Ensure unit is installed on a flat surface
