A tune sounds when the appliance is activated. The AUTO OFF function automatically deactivates the appliance to stop the energy consumption when: • You do not use the appliance for 5 minutes before you press button 4 . – All settings are cancelled.

D The steam symbol comes on when you set a Steam programme. E The detergent overdosing symbol comes on at the end of the cycle when the appliance detects too much detergent.

When you load the laundry, the weight updates by steps of 0.5 kg. J When the door is closed • The symbol of detergent • The percentage of the detergent quantity. The symbols shows the quantity of detergent to use for the laundry in the drum.

www.aeg.com 7. CONSUMPTION VALUES At programme start the display shows the duration programme for the maximum load capacity. During the washing phase the programme duration is automatically calculated and can greatly be reduced if the laundry load is lower than the maximum load capacity (e.g. Cotton 60°C, maximum load capacity 8 kg, the programme duration exceeds 2 hours; real load 1 kg, the programme duration don’t reach 1 hour).
ENGLISH 17 8. BEFORE FIRST USE To activate the drain system, put 2 litre of water in the main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser. 2. Put a small quantity of detergent in the main wash compartment of the detergent dispenser. Set and start a programme for cotton at the highest temperature without laundry. www.aeg.com 13.3 Positioning and levelling • Install the appliance on a flat hard floor. • Make sure that carpets do not stop the air circulation below the appliance. • Make sure that the appliance does not touch the wall or other units • Loosen or tighten the feet to adjust the level. A correct adjustment of the appliance level prevents the vibration, noise and the movement of the appliance when in operation. x4 • The appliance must be level and stable.

Diese Funktion empfiehlt sich in Gebieten mit weichem Wasser und für Menschen, die unter Waschmittelallergien leiden. 5.8 Flecken-/Vorwäsche-Taste 8 Drücken Sie die Taste 8 , um einem Programm eine Fleckenbehandlungsoder Vorwäsche-Phase hinzuzufügen. DEUTSCH 51 7. VERBRAUCHSWERTE Am Programmstart zeigt das Display die Programmdauer für die maximale Beladung an. Während der Waschphase wird die Programmdauer automatisch berechnet und verringert sich möglicherweise beträchtlich, wenn die Wäsche weniger wiegt als die maximal zulässige Beladung. Zum Beispiel beträgt die maximale Beladung bei Baumwolle 60 °C 8 kg und die Programmdauer überschreitet 2 Stunden. Wiegt die tatsächliche Beladung 1 kg, verringert sich die Programmdauer auf unter 1 Stunde.

Wenn Sie das Gerät auf einem Sockel aufstellen, befestigen Sie es mithilfe der Fixierplatten. Lesen Sie aufmerksam die dem Bausatz beiliegende Anleitung. 13.2 Auspacken 1. Verwenden Sie Handschuhe. Entfernen Sie die äußere Folie. Benutzen Sie, falls erforderlich, ein Teppichmesser. 2. Nehmen Sie die Karton-Abdeckung ab. Entfernen Sie die Styropor-Verpackungsteile. 3. 4.
