Starting up and temperature regulation

Turn the temperature control knob (2) in the direction of “-16°C”.
The green light (1), the amber light (3) and the red light (6) come on,
the audible warning sounds (if fitted), and the refrigeration motor
starts up and runs continuously.
The appliance electronics switch off the FROSTMATIC function after 5
hours. The amber light (3) goes out.
During normal operation:

Operate FROSTMATIC by depressing the FROSTMATIC button (4) for
more than one second.
The amber pilot light (3) comes on and the refrigerator motor runs
continuously.

After 3-4 hours you should reset the FROSTMATIC button (4); the
amber light (3) goes out.
If the FROSTMATIC function is not ended manually, the appliance elec-
tronics switch off the FROSTMATIC function after 48 hours. The amber
light (3) goes out.
The temperature control knob (2) can be used to set the required stor-
age temperature, -18°C or colder.
Setting „
“ means:
Off.
Setting “-16°C” means:
highest, warmest internal temperature
Setting “-24°C” means:
lowest, coldest internal temperature
Recommended control knob setting:
“-18°C”

Important: Regularly check on the red temperature pilot light (6) that
the required storage temperature is being maintained.

Malfunctions
If the electronics in the appliance have detected a fault that prevents
the ACTUAL temperature being measured, the warning light in the
temperature display will flash. The appliance will continue to function
using a backup program until your local Service Force Engineer has
repaired the appliance.
