Using the corded base:
During an external call:
1. Press
to show all the other registered handset numbers, plus a „9“.
2. Enter the number for the handset you want to transfer the call to.
The external call is put on hold automatically and the called handset rings.
3. Press
on the called handset to establish an internal call.
4. Replace the corded handset on to the base, or press
if in speakerphone mode, to end the current
call with the external party.
5. The external call is transferred to the called handset.
7.18.4 Make a 3-way conference call
The conference call feature allows one external call to be shared with the base and one handset or with
two handsets . The three parties can share the conversation and no additional network subscription is
required.
Using a cordless handset:
During an external call:
tFollow Steps 1 to 4 in section 7.18.3.
tPress and hold the star key * on the calling handset to establish the conference call.
Either handset can exit the conference by pressing
, leaving the other handset still connected to the
external call.
Using the corded base:
During the external call:
tFollow Steps 1 to 3 in section 7.18.3 (corded).
tPress and hold the „*“ key on the calling base to establish the conference call.
Any party (base or handset) can exit the conference and leave the other party still connected to the
external call.
8 PRIVATE PHONEBOOK
Your phone can store up to 50 private phonebook entries with names and numbers in each handset and 50
entries in the base. Each phonebook entry can have a maximum of 20 digits for a handset phone number
or 24 digits for a base phone number, and 12 characters for the name. You can also select different
ringtones for your phonebook entries. (Note: the different ringtones only play when you receive a call if
you subscribe to Caller Display and the incoming number matches the stored number.) Phonebook entries
are stored alphabetically by name.
Using the cordless handset:
8.1 Add a new phonebook entry
In idle:
tPress
and / to select “PHONEBOOK” and then press
O
K
to access the phonebook.
tPress
to show “ADD”.
tPress
and then enter the name.
tPress
and then enter the number.
tPress
and / to select the desired ringtone for your phonebook entry.
tPress
to store the phonebook entry.
8.2 Search for a Phonebook Entry
In idle:
tPress
and / to select “PHONEBOOK“ and then press to access the phonebook.
tEnter the first letter of the name using the alphanumeric keys (e.g. if it begins with C, press the 2 key
three times), and then
/ to scroll to the entry you want.
