Enabling/Disabling the AUTO-HOLD Mode:
■ Enter the menu by ►.  blinks.
■ Press ▲ or ▼ to switch the AUTO-HOLD mode to
active or inactive.
- AUTO-HOLD Mode Disabled: Only the
icon is displayed.
- AUTO-HOLD Mode Enabled: The and
icons are displayed.
■ Validate and return to the previous menu by ►.

Calibration Loop
The provided 5Ω calibration test loop (Figure 4-2) lets you perform a quick
check of the instrument’s accuracy. To do this, turn ON the instrument and wait
until it completes its startup calibration cycle. Then clamp the instrument around
the loop; the measurement should read between 4.8Ω and 5.2Ω. If not, clean
the instrument and repeat the measurement. If you are still unable to obtain a
measurement between 4.8Ω and 5.2Ω, contact AEMC.
