Adjusting the rinse aid dose
When you remove the cap from the rinse aid
dispenser (Fig. 15), the dosage dial with six
settings will be visible.
Always start with the dispenser set on “4”, as
illustrated (Fig. 20). If spots and poor drying
are a problem, increase the amount of rinse aid
dispensed by rotating the dial to “5”. If the dishes
still are not drying properly or are showing spots,
adjust the dial to level “6”.
• Increase the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes after the
wash.
• Reduce the dose if there are sticky whitish streaks on your dishes or a bluish film on
glassware or knife blades.

Fill the rinse aid dispenser when the warning light on the control panel comes on.
Alternatively, you can estimate the amount of rinse aid left in the dispenser by the
colour of the optical level indicator, which is located next to the cap (see Fig. 16-C on
page 23). When the rinse aid container is full, the whole indicator will be dark. As the
rinse aid diminishes, the size of the dark dot decreases, as indicated below. Never let
the rinse aid level fall below 1/4 full.

If you are using detergent tablets that contain a rinse aid, you do not need to add
