Manager/secretary:
Series of special services (filtering, forwarding) between a manager's terminal and a
secretary's terminal.
Multi-line terminal:
Terminal that has at least two lines.
Numéris:
French digital public network, also called ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network).
Parking:
This function places an outside call on hold, for subsequent recovery on another
"authorised" extension within the system.
Password:
This password controls access to the programming and terminal locking functions by the
user (default password: 0000).
Personal directory:
This directory contains the personal numbers of the user of a terminal.
Pick-up group:
This function enables you to answer a call ringing on another terminal. Calls can only be
picked up within the pick-up group.
Sending DTMF signals:
During a conversation, DTMF codes are sometimes required. These codes are used when
a user wants to consult a voice server, access a PABX or remotely consult an answering
machine.
Single-line terminal:
Terminal that has only one line.
Sub-address:
To contact your correspondent's fax, PC or telephone by Numéris (ISDN), it may
necessary to add a four-figure sub-address to the number.
