Alesis Recital Frequently Asked Questions
Is a keyboard stand supplied?
A stand is not supplied however, the Alesis Recital is compatible with virtually any heavy
duty 88-key X-frame stand.
How can I obtain my 3 free months of Skoove Premium?
You can obtain your free 3-month promotion of Skoove Premium by visiting
alesis.com/softwaredownload and following the steps on this webpage.
For operation with Skoove, connect the Recital to your PC, Mac, or iOS device (Apple
Camera Connection Kit) via USB for MIDI connectivity (USB Type B > A cable sold
separately).
Is a power adapter included?
Yes! The supplied power adapter can be located within the inner packaging, embedded in
the polystyrene.
The volume on my Alesis Recital was fine initially but is now low or inconsistent. What
do I do?
The good news is that you probably just need to perform a quick factory reset to be back
up and running.
While the keyboard has a single external volume knob, there are a number of user
adjustable settings that can also affect the volume. You may have accidentally lowered
one of the internal volume or sensitivity settings.
To restore your Recital to the factory default settings, hold the Reverb and Chorus
buttons while powering on the Recital.
The following parameters will be reset to their default values: Reverb, Chorus, Metronome
Tempo, Metronome Time Signature, Metronome Volume, Upper Volume, Lower Volume,
Split Volume, Split Point, MIDI Channel, Touch Sensitivity, and Auto Power Off
