The AlphaRefuge™ 2100 Series system power
supply shall be Alpha Communications®
model PWR2410A, or approved equal.
The PWR2410A shall provide electrical power for
up to 10 of the RCB2100 series Refuge Call
Boxes, which are powered by 24VDC 'remote'
power. The PWR2410A shall provide 2.5 Amp
output current and shall be housed in a steel
enclosure that is powder coated.
The PWR2410A shall feature short circuit and
thermal overload protection, individual LED
power indicators, and shall be UL1310 and
UL2044 Listed for the US and Canada.
Contractor shall observe all local and national
electrical and building codes.

The Alpha Communications® PWR2410A Power Supply is used with the AlphaRefuge™
2100 Series Area of Refuge system.
The PWR2410A can provide power for the RCB2100 series Refuge Call Boxes, which
operate on 24VDC 'remote' power. It is not needed when the RCB2100 series Refuge
Call Boxes are powered by 'direct' 120VAC power.
Only one (1) PWR2410A is needed per system.
