IMPORTANT – To create a weathertight seal, be sure that the ashing
fully covers the entire length of the side jambs and head jamb of
the door around the patio door opening. Pay special attention to the
corners to be sure that there are no gaps in the ashing.
Step 13
Installation Flange
Apply self-adhesive
exible ashing to cover
the installation ange.
Apply to the sides rst and
make sure it extends beyond
the top of the patio door. Then
apply to the top, extending
beyond the sides.
NOTE: Use J-roller to make
sure the self-adhesive exible
ashing bonds properly.
Overlap the ashing
as shown.
