d. Adjust the endshield to achieve the gap ‘X’

between the front end of shield and header frame

in accordance with the following chart.

e. Tighten bolts (D) and (E).

f. To achieve a snug fit between the aft end of the

shield and header frame, loosen bolts (G), and

adjust the latch (H) to re-position the shield

(shown in previous column).

g. Loosen bolts (J) on endshield support, and adjust

endshield to align with endsheet as shown above.

h. Tighten bolts (G) and (J).

i. Close endshield.

10.4.1.1.2 Removal

a. Open endshield.

b. Remove screw (K) at top of support tube.

c. Lift endshield off support tube.
