Ensure the floor and stud walls are square and plumb. Provide a

5" x 5" (127mm x 127mm) opening in the floor for the drain (see

Fig. A). The drain plug accommodates a 2" (51mm) PVC waste

pipe. The waste pipe should extend above the surface of the

sub-floor 3/8" ± 1/16".

Note: Variations in levelness of subfloor may require adjustment

of waste pipe height. See product drawings on this page for the

specified drain locations.

Before installing drain into

the shower base, remove

strainer (see Fig. B). This

will be installed after shower

base is in its final position.

Install the drain to the

shower base as shown in

Fig. C. Use silicone sealant

between drain body and

shower base.

3 After leveling base on subfloor, use base and mark studs. This will be the installed height of shower base. Mix the low-shrink bedding material (grout, mortar, plaster, etc.). Concrete is not recommended. Apply enough bedding material to support the entire bottom of the shower base. The bedding material must not be used under the apron (front edge).

3 Después de nivelar la base en el contrapiso, use la base y marque los montantes. Esto será la altura instalada de la base de la ducha. Mezcle el material de asiento de baja contracción (lechada, mortero, yeso, etc.). No se recomienda usar concreto. Aplique suficiente material de asiento como para sostener toda la parte inferior de la base de la ducha. No debe usarse material de asiento debajo del faldón (borde delantero).

3 Après avoir mis au niveau le sous-plancher, utilisez la base et marquez les montants. Ceci correspond à la hauteur d'installation de la base de douche. Mélangez le matériel de litière à faible retrait (coulis, mortier, plâtre, etc.). Nous ne recommandons pas l'utilisation de béton. Versez suffisamment de matériel de litière pour supporter toute la partie inférieure de la base de douche. Le matériel de litière ne doit pas être utilisé sous le panneau (le rebord avant).
