Long, straight cuts are easier
to make with large tin snips.
Open the cutter wide at the
start of each stroke, and close
blades smoothly. Lift the
cutoff strip slowly and roll it
to the side to prevent
binding.
Limit screw location to valleys only. Screwing into ridges
will indent metal and create unseemly divots.
Adjoining panels should be
overlapped for continuity
Recommended fastener is
#8 Diameter x ½” Long
Hex Head Slotted Sheet Metal Screws
Hold the drill steady
and apply consistent
pressure into the
project panel
