Basic settings
In order to be able to use the TCL 190 alarm clock, you must first
carry out the following settings.
1. Set the time. Turn the rotary knob (15) until the clock shows
the correct time.
2. Set the time at which the alarm should go off. Turn the rotary
knob (14) until the red hand points to the time at which the
alarm should be triggered.
3. Use the sliding switch (7) to select the type of alarm (mode).
There are three settings available, from left to right vibration
only", acoustic signal only" or acoustic signal + vibration".
4. Turn the rotary knob (4) to set the required volume. Firstly,
set the volume to quiet" (turn anticlockwise) and increase
the volume slowly.
Exposure to the alarm at full volume for a long period could
cause ear damage.
5. Turn the rotary knob (5) to set the required acoustic signal.
6. Turn the rotary knob (3) to set the required pitch for the
acoustic signal.
Use the rotary knobs for volume and pitch to select
settings whereby the alarm can serve its purpose with the
volume setting as low as possible. Depending on your
hearing, it is possible that you can detect higher or lower
pitch tones even at low volumes.
7. In order to activate the alarm to trigger at the set time, turn
the rotary knob (3) clockwise to On".
