CAUTION
To meet EMC regulations, Yokogawa
recommends that customers run signal wiring
through metal conduits or use shielded twisted-
pair cabling when installing EJX/EJA-E series
transmitters in a plant.
2.11 Pressure Equipment
Directive (PED)
(1) General
• EJX/EJA-ESeriespressuretransmittersare
categorized as piping under the pressure
accessories section of directive 97/23/EC,
which corresponds to Article 3, Paragraph 3 of
PED, denoted as Sound Engineering Practice
(SEP).
• EJX110A-MS, EJX110A-HS,
EJX110A-VS, EJ130, EJ440, and
EJA110E with /HG can be used above 200
bar and therefore considered as a part of a
pressure retaining vessel where category III,
Module H applies. These models with option
code /PE3 conform to that category.
