Brass Fittings

PEX

Apollo PEX Brass Fittings are used for making junctions or directional

changes with PEX pipe constructed potable water systems.

All Apollo PEX Brass Fittings comply with the U.S. Safe Water Drinking

Act (SDWA) and the 2011 U.S. Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act by

containing equal to or less than 0.25% lead.

All Apollo PEX Brass Fittings have barb ends unless otherwise noted. Apollo

PEX Brass Fittings can be used with Apollo brand PEX-A or PEX-B pipe.

Specications:

Use Apollo PEX Brass Fittings with Apollo PEX pipe and fasten to pipe using Apollo Crimp

Rings, Apollo Pinch Clamps, or Apollo Crimp Sleeves with Apollo PEX Tools. Follow all

instructions included with Apollo tools, fittings, and fasteners.

Installation:

Squarely cut PEX pipe to desired length and remove burrs. Slide crimp ring, pinch clamp

or sleeve over end of pipe. Insert fitting into pipe end until it touches the shoulder of the

fitting. Pro crimp rings, pro pinch clamps and stainless steel sleeves will stay on the end

og the pipe. Position crimp rings or pinch clamps 1/8"-1/4" from the end of the pipe and

over the fitting ribs closes to the end of the fitting. Fasten according to appropriate tool

directions. Crimp ring and sleeve connections can be checked with a Go/No-Go Gauge.
