4. FREQuency:SET <numeric value>

This command allows the user to set the frequency of the USB Stick Synthesizer. The frequency value is

speciﬁed in MHz.

Syntax

FREQ :SET Space numeric value

Example

FREQ:SET 2400 This command sets the tuning frequency of the device to 2400 MHz

Default Condition

On power up, or when a SYST:PRES or *RST command is issued, the synthesizer frequency defaults to

the frequency stored in memory location 0, unless otherwise speciﬁed in the product’s Operation Manual.

Query

FREQ:SET? This query returns the frequency for the device in GHz.

Error Messages

If the frequency entered is out of the operational range of the device, an error message of 201, "Parameter

speciﬁed out of Device operating range" is placed in the device’s error queue.
