confirms that the radio station is saved
and you can release the key.
Any station that is already saved to the
"Preset" key that you press will be
overwritten.
Settings
In the Settings menu you can do the
following:
• Manage the settings for the RDS
functions.
• Adjust the speed dependent volume.
• Make a factory reset.
Alternative Frequency
The frequency range for FM stations is
fairly limited. For this reason, many
stations broadcast on alternative
frequencies in different areas. When
Alternative Frequency is on, the radio
automatically switches to the alternative
frequencies as you drive and you can
listen to such a station without
interruption.
You can set Alternative Frequency to
Off, Local or Regional.
Select Alternative Frequency, then use
the Right or Left key in the steering
wheel keypad to scroll between the
options. Press OK to make your
selection.
Traffic Announcement
When Traffic Announcement is on, traffic
announcements will be played even if
you listen to another source than radio.
When Traffic Announcement is
highlighted, press OK to toggle the
function on or off.
News
When News is on, news announcements
will be played even if you listen to
another source than radio.
Speed volume
You can set Speed volume to Off, Low,
Medium or High.
Select Speed volume, then use then use
the Right or Left key in the steering
wheel keypad to scroll between the
options. Press OK to make your
selection.
