How to Guide

FULL SPECTRUM LIGHTING:
MODEL NUMBERS: CERTIFICATIONS
The Archipelago Full Spectrum LED Grow Lights have been tuned to a specific spectrum range that plants need for optimal growth. So not only
are you saving energy by using LED instead of other light sources, but even further efficiencies have been gained in providing spectral peaks in the
colors that plants absorb most, while minimizing those they do not. The Archipelago LED Grow Light is suitable for growing all plants through its
full life cycle from seedling to flowering or harvest. When starting plants from seed, a good
rule of thumb is to only apply light after the first leaf appears. Also remember to reduce the
intensity and keep initial light hours low, while gradually increasing, until your plant begins to grow
larger and thrive.
Another advantage of LED Grow Lights is the huge reduction in heat produced. This allows for
the light source to be much closer to the plant or plant canopy without risk of burning the plant.
Additionally, when being used indoors it removes the need for heat evacuation in the room the
plant is being grown in, further saving you money on energy usage.
Thank you for your purchase.
Your Archipelago LED Grow Light will be instrumental in providing a light spectrum similar to that of
the sun with the goal of facilitating accelerated vegetative and/or flowering growth. LED grow lights
speed up your plant’s vegetative process and boost yields and quality, while saving on your energy bill.
LIGHT INTENSITY & COVERAGE:
Plant Type Distance* Stage
High Intensity 2-4”
Mature plants,
vegetative, flowering
Low Intensity 12-24”
Seedling (>2 leaves),
pre-vegetative
Light intensity can be manipulated through grow light positioning. Light intensity or distance
between your plants and your LED grow lights is crucial to the health of your plants and their
yields. The recommended distance is dependent on the type of plant as well as the plant stage. As
a general rule more mature plants can handle a higher light intensity so you can position the light
closer to the plant. Seedlings thrive with less intense light, so it is optimal to position your plant
further from the light source.
