17 INFO+: When on programme guide mode, press here to obtain additional information on current and
next program. Use this key to open a window and get technical details of a channel during video list
mode.
18 CH-/Page down:To access to the previous channel of the main list, to go to the previous page of a list
and to change data on menu mode.
19 NAVIGATION:Allows you to navigate within a menu or a list and to directly access the favorites up and
down from the last used favorite list.
20 ESC/TXT: Allows you to escape a funciton, to go back to the previous menu or to access to the teletext
function in video mode.
21 TV/SAT: Use this key to switch between satellite/terrestrial reception.
2. Before connecting your receiver, you are kindly asked to observe teh
following safety instructions.
Never try to open the receiver when plugged to the mains. Only qualified technician can operate. Do not
store or use your receiver in humid environement.
Keep a clear space around your receiver to allow sufficient ventilation.
Stand your receiver on a solid and stable area.
Verify that the voltage corresponds to that of your receiver.
Do not use multiple electrical sockets.
Never clean your receiver while it is still connected to the mains supply. Disconnect it and use a soft, dry
cloth. Never use a damp cloth or detergents to clean your receiver.
If you do not use your receiver for a long period, we recommend you to unplug it.
3. Global considerations
In order to fully benefit of your new receiver, it is highly important that your outdoor setting be properly done.
Before first use, your receiver will start on the main menu. Afterwards, it will start on last selected channel.
Before installing channels, you need to set up local parameters.
4. Parameters
Press MENU/OK on the remote control to access to the main menu.
Select the OPTIONS menu, using (CD) and then press OK.
Select LOCAL PARAMETERS, using (CD) and then press OK.
These settings are important for the program guide as well as for the LocSat function(when using a
motorized system) to work properly!
Use the navigation keys (CD) to select the parameter and use the CH+/CH- keys to change the values.
Move the cursor to CITY item (CD) and enter the name of your location(Optional information)using the
alphanumerical keys of your remote.
Move to LATITUDEitem (CD) and enter your value. In order to know it, consult an atlas or a map, which
shows the exact latitude. (1)
