Chapter 3: Keeping in touch

Forwarding a message

You can forward a message to others.

1. From the Messenger app’s home screen, tap to open the message thread.

2. Tap and hold any of the messages from the thread, then tap on the top of the screen.

3. Tap to select a contact that you wish to forward the message to.

4. When you’re done, tap to send the message. If you have more than one SIM card

installed, select the SIM account that you’re going to send your message from in advance. The

conversation will be forwarded as an MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) message.

NOTE:

• EnsurethatyouhaveMMSsubscriptionwithyourmobileserviceprovider.

• Ensurethatdataaccessisenabledonyourdevice.FromyourHomescreen,tap > Settings >

More > Celluar networks, then slide Data enabled on.

• Mobiledataandmessagingratesapplywhenforwardingconversationstoothers.

Other messaging options

When you open a message thread, you can tap and do any of these other options below.

Add contact

Tap to add this number to the Contacts app.

People & options

Tap to congure the general settings of the message thread.

Tap and enter keywords in the Search eld to search in the conversation.
