INTRODUCTION The Atlona AT-HD420 converts HDMI to a VGA or component output plus stereo audio. It enables an HDMI source to connect to a PC monitor, Projector or TV. Its high bandwidth capability supports a wide range of PC monitor and HDTV resolutions up to 1920 X 1200 or 1080p. The converter is also capable of de-embedding audio from the HDMI source and converting it to a stereo 1/8-inch interface. This will allow the user to connect it to a set of speakers, an AVR or any other audio device. Note 1.
PANEL DESCRIPTION 5.1. Front Panel 1 2 3 1. Output Format switch: Set the switch to VGA when your HDMI source equipment is connected to a PC monitor or projector. Use a VGA cable to connect between the AT-HD420 VGA out and the VGA input of your PC monitor or a projector. Set the dip switch to component video when your HDMI source equipment is connected to the component video input on an HDTV display.

Check displays documentation for list of supported resolutions. • If your source is a Blu-ray player most purchased media is HDCP (copywrite protected by the studio) protected which is not supported by the AT-HD420. 2.
SAFETY INFORMATION Safeguards To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture. If the wall plug does not fit into your local power socket, hire an electrician to replace your obsolete socket. Do not modify the wall plug. Doing so will void the warranty and safety features. This equipment should be installed near the socket outlet and the device should be easily accessible in case it requires disconnection.

LIMITED WARRANTY Atlona Technologies warrants that (a) its products (the “Product”) will perform substantially in accordance with the accompanying written materials for a period of 3 YEARS from the date of receipt and (b) that the Product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 3 years.
