Table 5-21: Digital Gateway Parameters (continues on pages 126 to 128)
Parameter Description
Trunk Groups to Send IE
[SendIEonTG]
A list of Trunk Group IDs (up to 50 characters) from where the optional
ISDN IE, defined by the parameter ‘AddIEinSetup’, is sent.
For example: ‘SendIEonTG = 1,2,4,10,12,6’.
Enable User-to-User IE for Tel to IP
[EnableUUITel2IP]
0 = Disabled (default).
1 = Enable transfer of User-to-User Information Element (UUIE) from PRI
Setup message to H.323 Setup message. The IE is transferred without
being altered.
Enable User-to-User IE for IP to Tel
[EnableUUIIP2Tel]
0 = Disabled (default).
1 = Enable transfer of (UUIE) from H.323 Setup message to PRI Setup
message. The IE is transferred without being altered.
Enable ISDN Tunneling Tel to IP
[EnableISDNTunnelingTel2IP]
0 = Disabled (default).
1 = Enable ISDN Tunneling from ISDN PRI to H.323.
When ISDN Tunneling is enabled, the gateway sends ISDN Setup or
Facility messages using H.323 Setup or Facility messages. The raw data
from the ISDN is inserted into a dedicated structure in the H.323
messages.
Note: It is necessary to set the parameter ‘ISDNDuplicateQ931BuffMode’
to 128 (duplicate all messages) for this mechanism to function.
Enable ISDN Tunneling IP to Tel
[EnableISDNTunnelingIP2Tel]
0 = Disabled (default).
1 = Enable ISDN Tunneling from H.323 to ISDN PRI.
When ISDN Tunneling is enabled, the gateway extracts the raw data
received in a dedicated structure in the H.323 Setup or Facility messages
and sends the data as ISDN messages to the PSTN side.
ISDN Transfer On Connect
[SendISDNTransferOnConnect]
0 = Enable ISDN Transfer if outgoing call is in Alert state (default).
1 = Enable ISDN Transfer only if outgoing call is in Connect state.
This parameter is used for the ECT/TBCT/RLT ISDN Transfer methods.
Usually, the gateway requests the PBX to connect an incoming and an
outgoing call. This parameter determines if the outgoing call (from the
gateway to the PBX) must be connected before the transfer is initiated.
Remove CLI when Restricted
[RemoveCLIWhenRestricted]
Determines (for IP to Tel calls) whether the Calling Number IE and Calling
Name IE are removed from the outgoing ISDN Setup message if the
presentation is set to Restricted.
0 = IE aren’t removed (default).
1 = IE are removed.
Add Prefix to Redirect Number
[Prefix2RedirectNumber]
Defines a string Prefix that is added to the Redirect number received from
the Tel side. This Prefix is added to the Redirect Number in the Diversion
header.
The valid range is an 8 character string. The default is an empty string.
