ISDNDuplicateQ931BuffM
ode
Controls the activation / deactivation of delivering raw Q.931 messages.
0 = ISDN messages aren’t duplicated (default).
128 = All ISDN messages are duplicated.
Note: This parameter is not updated on-the-fly and requires a gateway reset.
PlayRBTone2Trunk_ID
ID = Trunk number.
0 (Don't play) = The ISDN / CAS gateway doesn’t play a Ringback Tone (RBT).
1 (Play) =
The CAS gateway plays a local RBT to the PSTN after receipt of an H.225 / Alert
message.
The ISDN gateway functions according to the parameter ‘LocalISDNRBSource’:
If ‘LocalISDNRBSource = 0’, the ISDN gateway doesn’t play an RBT and
sends an Alert message (without PI) to the ISDN. In this case the PBX / PSTN
should play the RBT to the originating terminal by itself.
If ‘LocalISDNRBSource = 1’ and the ISDN gateway receives an H.225 / Alert
message, it (the ISDN gateway) plays an RBT and sends an Alert message
with PI = 8 (unless the parameter ‘Progress Indicator to ISDN’ is configured
differently).
2 = Play according to Progress Indicator (PI) (default):
The CAS gateway plays a local RBT only if there is no PI in the received H.225 /
Alert message. If PI = 1 or 8 in the received message, the gateway cuts through
the voice channel and doesn’t play the RBT locally.
For ISDN gateways:
If PI = 1 or 8 is received in H.225 / Alert message, the gateway cuts through the
voice channel and sends an ISDN Alert message with PI. The PI that is sent to
the ISDN is obtained from the received H.225 message, unless the parameter
‘Progress Indicator to ISDN’ is configured differently. The gateway doesn’t play a
local RBT to the PSTN.
If there is no PI in the received H.225 / Alert message, the ISDN gateway
functions according to the parameter ‘LocalISDNRBSource’:
If ‘LocalISDNRBSource = 0’, The ISDN gateway doesn’t play a local RBT, and
sends an Alert message (without PI) to the ISDN. In this case the PBX / PSTN
should play the RBT to the originating terminal by itself.
If ‘LocalISDNRBSource = 1’, the ISDN gateway plays a local RBT, and sends
an Alert with PI = 8 (unless the parameter ‘Progress Indicator to ISDN’ is
configured differently).
3 = RBT is played only for H.323 Normal connect:
The gateway (including the PRI gateway) plays a RBT after an H.225 Alert
message is received (only for H.323 Normal connect procedure). For Fast Start
procedure, the gateway doesn’t play RBT. When RBT is played, the PRI gateway
sends PI = 8 to the ISDN, unless the parameter ‘Progress Indicator to ISDN’ is
configured differently.
