12.2.2 Operating baby monitoring
In order to monitor a room, place one of the handsets in the room to be
monitored. Activate the baby monitoring" function on this handset. No
further internal or external calls are signalled by this handset from this
point. You can then establish a connection to this handset from another
handset and acoustically monitor the room.

12.3.2 Operating the walkie−talkie function
The walkie−talkie" function must be activated on all handsets involved.
In the case of this function, the handsets operate independent of the
base station. The range of the handset is up to 50 m indoors and up to
300 m outdoors. When the walkie−talkie" function is activated, the
handsets cannot be used to make or take calls.

