5 Navigation and Menu Structure
5.1 Display
The graphical, colour display indicates all the important functions by
means of various icons and messages. After pressing any button, the
display lights up for 10 seconds. The screen saver, which takes the form
of an analogue clock, is activated automatically after 30 seconds.
Settings for the display are explained in Chapter 10.
5.2 Display indicators
The table below lists all the icons which may appear in the display.
Icon
Description
Status indicator for the connection to the base station.
A call is currently being made.
Indicates the current battery charge status.
Handsfree mode has been switched on.
The walkie−talkie" function has been activated.
The alarm clock" is switched on.
The ringing tone has been switched off.
The key lock function is switched on.
A new message has been recorded.
Visual Message Waiting Indication (VMWI) −
optional service from the telephone network provider, e.g.
T−Net Box
The name of the phone book entry.
The phone number of the phone book entry.
Indicates the current receiver volume (3 levels available).
Select the external ringing melody.
Select the internal ringing melody.
Switch function on or off.
Dial the number for an outside line ("PABX" menu) or a
number in the Prefix" menu.
Select the volume for the ringing melody.
