Deregistering handsets
A handset can only be deregistered from a base station by using another handset re-
gistered to the same base station.
 Select the SETUP menu.
 Select the DEL HANDSET submenu and confirm
 Enter the PIN (default setting: 0000) and confirm the input
Press to cancel the process.
 Enter the internal call number of the handset to be
deregistered and confirm the input.
Multiple base stations
The handsets can be simultaneously registered on up to 4 different base stations. Advantage:
The range of your handsets can be increased by using several base stations.
To take advantage of this feature, each base station requires its own telephone line socket.
This can involve connections with the same phone numbers or different ones.
Position the base stations so that their ranges overlap ( Page 43).
Test the range of your handsets because obstructions in buildings restrict the range.
Register your handsets on all the base stations. Page 56
Activate the Auto" function on all the handsets (see below) to select base stations.
The handset automatically searches for the nearest base station with the best con-
nection.
Selecting a base station
 Open the REGISTER menu.
 Select the SELECT BASE submenu and confirm
All the base stations to which the handset is already registered appear in the display.
The number of the base station currently active flashes.
 Enter the internal number of the base station (1, 2, 3 or 4)
to which the handset should switch and confirm the input
or (recommended):

Select the AUTO setting so that the handset automatically
switches to the nearest base station when the connection
to the current base station becomes poor or fails.
