Important Information on the Location of the Telephone
Requirements
– Existing connections in the immediate vicinity of where the telephone is

port can be con-

Warning: Liquid entering the casing can cause life-threatening electric
shocks and damage or destroy the telephone.
씮 Only operate the telephone in closed, dry rooms.
씮 Only clean the casing of the device with a slightly moist cloth or an anti-
static cloth.
Caution: Mechanical stress and electro-magnetic fields can result in dam-
age to or destruction of the device or impairment of its functions.
씮 Avoid mechanical loads (e.g. vibrations).
씮 Avoid the proximity of devices which radiate electro-magnetic fields (for
example, radio sets, professional radio equipment, amateur radio
equipment, mobile phones, DECT systems, WLAN routers, etc.).
씮 Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
씮 Protect the device from dirt, excessive dust, condensation, caustic
liquids, and steam.
씮 Note the values for ambient temperature and humidity given in the tech-
nical data.
Assembling the Telephone
• Place the telephone on a clean, flat surface.
