The answering machine has now been activated.

쑱 Create one or more separate announcements (see page 49).
쑱 Configure the answering machine according to your requirements. Carry
out the configuration either using the menu on the telephone display (see
the Operation Guide) or using the configuration software COMfortel Set
(recommended; see page 51).
Creating an Announcement for the Answering Machine (only
COMfortel 1400)
Requirements
– Answering machine put into operation
1. Press the menu key.
2. Tap successively on answer.machine > settings > edit announcem. >
new announcement.
3. Enter a name for the announcement using the keypad.
4. Tap on OK to complete the entry.
5. Tap on OK to start the recording.
6. Record the announcement.
7. Tap on OK to stop the recording.
8. Tap on playback.
You will hear the announcement you just recorded.
9. Tap on store.
Note: If you are not satisfied with the results, tap on new announcement.
After doing this, you can make a new recording.

functions > TAM announcem. > ...) or via the configuration software
