Querying the Firmware Version/Serial Number
1. Press the menu key.
2. Select the information menu:

3. Confirm your selection:

Performing a Firmware Update via the Update Server
Important: Only available for operation on the PBXs COMpact 3000 ana-
logue/ISDN/VoIP, COMpact 5010 VoIP, COMpact 5020 VoIP and COM-
mander 6000/R/RX. On the other PBXs a manual firmware update can be
performed instead.
Requirements
– PBX connected to broadband Internet access
– Address of the update server configured in the PBX
– DNS server and, if necessary, HTTP proxy server configured in the PBX
1. Press the menu key.
2. Open the following menu:

COMfortel 1200: settings > synchronisation > firmware update

COMfortel 1400: settings > synchronisation > firmware update > FW
update server
