Duty to provide information in accordance with Batteriegesetz
(BattG - German Battery Law)
Please dispose of your old batteries at local recycling
facilities, in compliance with legal requirements, or
return them to your local retailer. Disposing of batteries
in normal household waste is prohibited and contravenes the
Batteriegesetz (German Battery Law) and many other national
regulations. You can return batteries free of charge. We are
happy to dispose of old batteries you purchased from us. We do
not charge for this service. Please ensure you return the batteries
with adequate postage.
Batteries which contain hazardous materials are marked with the
symbol of a "crossed out wheeled dustbin". The chemical sym-
bols or hazardous materials contained in the battery are listed
underneath the "crossed out wheeled dustbin" symbol. These
may include: (Pb) lead, (Cd) cadmium, (Hg) mercury, (Li) lithium,
(Ni) nickel, (Mh) metal hydride, (Zi) zinc.
Power consumption
Your Auerswald device only uses the power it absolutely
requires. Despite this, please read the following notes about
energy-saving measures:
Switch off the display backlight when the device is in
standby mode.
