BASIC FUNCTION
To access certain services such as voice mail or
interactive telephone system, you must use tone
dialing. DTMF dialing is still available when your
phone is set to the pulse mode.
To temporarily convert your phone to tone dial mode:
1. Press the key while the phone is in
the pulse dial mode.
Result: Your phone is converted to the tone dial
mode temporarily.
2. When you hang up, the phone returns to
the pulse mode.
Tone Dial Switchover
The
FFLLAASSHH
soft key displays while you are on the
phone. This key is used in conjunction with special
services, such as “Call waiting,” which may be offered
by your telephone company. You can transfer a call
locally to another extension under Auerswald PABX,
using this feature.
To transfer a call, press the FLASH soft key
while the line is engaged.

If the FLASH soft key does not work properly, you
need to change the Flash time. See page 38.
Registered Recall
Redialing Last Number
Your phone allows you to retrieve the last 20
numbers you have dialed.
To view and dial the numbers:
1. Press the LIST soft key in Standby mode
(see “Standby mode” on page 12).
2. Press the key to choose 2:Outgoing
Call, and press the SELECT soft key.
Result: The display shows the list of the numbers you
have dialed.
3. If you want to scroll through the memory,
press the or key until you find the
number you want to call.
4. Press the key to dial the number.
NNootteess::
• When no numbers are found,
EEMMPPTTYY
is displayed.
• Each time you dial a new number, the oldest number
stored in the redial memory is automatically erased,
and the redial memory is updated.
• You can modify the displayed number before pressing
the key by using the
CCLLEEAARR
soft key .
