BELL & BEEP

You can use the

BBeellll&&BBeeeepp

menu to customize the following sound options; key tone, ring type, ring volume,

sleep mode, and alert type. For information on setting the ring type and volume, see page 16.

You can set your handset to not sound the key tone

each time you press a key.

1. Press the MENU soft key to display the

Main menu items.

2. Press the  or  key to choose

2:Bell&Beep, and press the SELECT soft

key.

3. Press the SELECT soft key to access

1:Key Tone option.

Result: The current setting appears inside the box with a

check symbol.

4. Press the  or  key to scroll to the

desired setting.

Result: You can choose from:

• TYPE 1 – Standard key tone.

• TYPE 2 – Two-frequency tone.

• OFF – The key tone does not sound.

5. Press the SELECT soft key to save the

setting.

6. To return to Standby mode, press the

key.
