DIARY
Using the
DDiiaarryy
menu, you can use your phone as alarm clock, scheduler, and calculator.
This option allows you to set the alarm to ring at a
specific time.
Activating the Alarm Feature
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the
Main menu items.
2. Press the  or  key to choose Diary,
and press the SELECT soft key.
3. Press the SELECT soft key to access the
1:Set Alarm option.
4. Select the alarm frequency option by
pressing the  or  key and then press
the SELECT soft key.
Result: You can choose from
DDaaiillyy
,
MMoonntthhllyy
and
YYeeaarrllyy
.
5. Using the  or  key, select ON to
activate the alarm feature, and then press
the SELECT soft key.
6. For a Monthly or Yearly alarm, fill in the
Date field by using the numeric keys.
NNootteess::
• You can move the cursor to the right or left by using
the  or  key.
• If you have selected
DDaaiillyy
, your phone skips to the next
step.
EEvveerryy DDaayy
is displayed in the
DDaattee
field.
7. Press the  key to move to the Time
field, and enter the time when the alarm
sounds.
NNootteess::
• You need to enter the hour in 24-hour format.
• You can move the cursor to the right or left by using
the  or  key.
8. Press the  key to move to the Message
field, and enter a message of up to 13
characters to display when the alarm
sounds.
NNoottee::
If you do not want to enter a message, you can skip
to the next step. For details on entering text, see
page 20.
9. Press the  key to highlight the icon
and press the  or  key to select the
ring type for the alarm.
NNoottee::
If you skip this step, the ring type is automatically
set to the ring type you have previously set for the
incoming ring.
10. Press the OK soft key to save the setting.
Result:
The icon appears on the display.
11. To exit, press the key.
Deactivate the Alarm Feature
1. Access the 1:Set Alarm menu, and select
the alarm frequency you want to
deactivate. Refer to steps 1 through 4 in
“Activating the Alarm Feature” on this
page.
2. Using the  or  key, select OFF, and
then press the SELECT soft key.
3. To exit, press the key.
