Using the
HHSS SSeettttiinnggss
menu, you can customize various settings for the handset such as the standby
display and display language. For details on fuzzy dialing under the
HHSS SSeettttiinnggss
menu, see page 15.
Handset Settings
Using this feature, you can select the style of the
display in Standby mode. You can choose from:
TTeexxtt MMooddee
: displays the handset name you have
created. If you do not set the handset name, the
phone displays the handset and base number in
Standby mode.
GGrraapphhiicc MMooddee
: displays a preset graphic image in
Standby mode.
To select a display mode:
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the
Main menu items.
2. Press the or key to choose HS
Settings, and press the SELECT soft key.
3. Press the SELECT soft key to access the
1:Standby Display option.
Result: The current setting appears inside the box with a
check symbol.
4. Select from Text Mode and Graphic
Mode by using the or key, and
press the SELECT soft key.
Result: When you select
GGrraapphhiicc MMooddee
, your phone saves
the setting and returns to the previous menu
level. Skip to Step 8.
When you select
TTeexxtt MMooddee
, follow the steps
below:
5. If you select Text Mode, you can select
the handset name to display or not.
Select ON or OFF by using the or
key, and press the SELECT soft key.
Result: If you select
OOFFFF
, your phone saves the setting
and returns to the previous menu level. Skip to
Step 8. The phone displays the handset and base
number in Standby mode.
6. Enter the handset name to display in
Standby mode by using the alphanumeric
keys.
NNoottee

alphanumeric keys, see page 20.
7. Press the SELECT soft key to save the
name.
Result: After saving, the display goes back to the
previous menu level.
8. To exit, press the key.
