Setting Access Code
Some telephone system requires an access code (9,
for example) and listen for a second dial tone before
dialing an outside number. You can set your phone to
insert one-digit access code automatically when you
use a phone number from the Incoming Calls list. For
details about the Incoming Calls list, see page 23.
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the
Main menu items.
2. Press the  or  key to choose HS
Settings, and press the SELECT soft key.
3. Press the  or  key to choose 7:
Access Code, and press the SELECT soft
key.
4. Enter the one-digit access code by using
the number keypad, and press the
SELECT soft key.
NNoottee::
When you dial a phone number in the Incoming
Calls list, the number dials following the access
code and a preset pause time.
5. To exit, press the key.
Resetting Handset
If you reset the handset, all the user selectable
features return to the initial setting at the time of
purchase.
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the
Main menu items.
2. Press the  or  key to choose HS
Settings, and press the SELECT soft key.
3. Press the  or  key to choose
8:Handset Reset, and press the SELECT
soft key.
Result: Your phone asks you to confirm the selection.
4. Press the SELECT soft key to reset your
phone.
5. To exit, press the key.
