BASE SETTINGS
Changing Flash Time
The FLASH soft key allows you to transfer a call to
another extension. For details, see page 14. If your
FLASH key does not work properly, you need to
adjust the Flash time.
To change the Flash time:
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the
Main menu items.
2. Press the  or  key to choose BS
Settings, and press the SELECT soft
key.
3. Enter the current base PIN to access the
BS Settings menu, and press the
SELECT soft key.
4. Press the  or  key to choose 5:Flash
Time, and then press the SELECT soft
key.
Result:
The current setting appears inside the box with a
check symbol.
5. Press the  or  key to choose the
flash time and then press the SELECT
soft key.
Result: You can choose from
8800 mmss
,
110000 mmss
,
112200 mmss
,
118800 mmss
,
225500 mmss
,
330000 mmss
,
550000 mmss
, or
660000 mmss
.
6. To exit, press the key.
NNoottee::
For setting the flash time please refer to your
provider or to the operating manual of your tele-
phone system. The relevant phone number of the
service center can be obtained from your provider.

Barring Calls
It is possible to set the phone to restrict numbers that
can be dialed. Calls beginning with the numbers you
specify using this menu can not be dialed.
You can set up to 4 different restricted numbers
containing up to 4 digits each.
To activate or deactivate a call barring number:
1. Press the MENU soft key to display the
Main menu items.
2. Press the  or  key to choose BS
Settings, and press the SELECT soft
key.
3. Enter the current base PIN to access the
BS Settings menu, and press the
SELECT soft key.
4. Press the  or  key to choose 4:Call
Bar, and press the SELECT soft key.
5. Press the  or  key to choose the
memory location, and press the SELECT
soft key.
6. Press the  or  key to choose ON to
activate, or OFF to deactivate, and then
press the SELECT soft key.
7. If you select ON, enter the number you
want to restrict, up to four digits, and
then press the SELECT soft key.
8. To exit, press the key.
