Using Outbox
The Outbox on your phone stores the last 30 outgoing
short messages, fax and e-mail messages that you
sent successfully or failed to send. If you have an
incoming call while creating a message, the message
will be automatically stored in the Outbox so that you
can recall the message after answering the call.
You can review or resend any messages stored in the
Outbox, if needed.
To view a message in the Outbox:
1. Press the SMS key to display the SMS
menu items.
Or, press the MENU soft key to display
the Main menu items, choose Favorite,
and select 1:SMS by pressing the
SELECT soft key.
2. Press the  or  key to choose the
3: Outbox option, and press the SELECT
soft key.
Result: The list of the outgoing messages displays.
3. Select a message that you want to read
by using the  or  key, and press the
SELECT soft key.
Result: The display shows the receiver’s phone number,
the message contents, and the time when you
sent the message. For an e-mail, some of the
first part of the e-mail address displays instead
of the phone number.
4. While you read the fax or e-mail, press the
OPTION soft key to view the fax header
or email address.
To access the options, press the OPTION
soft key again. The following options are
available:
•Delete: allows you to delete the selected message.
•Send Same Msg: allows you to send the message.
•Edit Msg: allows you to edit the message and then
send it.
•Make a Call: allows you to call the receiver. This option
is available in the text message only.
•Save Number: allows you to save the receiver’s phone
number in the phonebook. This option is available in
the text message only.
5. To exit, press the key.
Deleting All Messages
You can delete all of the messages stored in the Inbox
and the Outbox.
To delete all of the messages:
1. Press the SMS key to display the SMS
menu items.
Or, press the MENU soft key to display
the Main menu items, choose Favorite,
and select1:SMS by pressing the
SELECT soft key.
2. Press the  or  key to choose the
4:All Delete option, and press the
SELECT soft key.
