InternalLight
Thisoutdoorrefrigeratorisequippedwithtopandsideinternallightsthatcanbesettoablueorwhite
color.Theinternallightswillilluminatewhenthedoorisopenedandturnoffwhenthedoorisclosed.
Theautomaticlightfeatureistriggeredbyasensorlocatedonthefrontvent.Thissensorallowstheoutdoor
refrigeratortorecognizewhenthedoorisopenorclosed.
Defrosting
Notethatundermostrefrigeratingsettings,theunitwillautomaticallydefrostundermostambient
conditions.However,oncoldersettings,somefrostmaybuildup.Additionally,themorehumidthe
ambientconditions,themorefrostmaybuildup.Keepthedoorclosedasmuchaspossibleandavoid
openingthedoorunnecessarilytominimizefrostbuild‐up.
Iffrostispreventingthedoorfromclosingproperly,youmayneedtopowertheunitoffuntilthefrostmelts.
Useasoftabsorbenttoweltodrytheunit.
NormalSounds
Yournewoutdoorrefrigeratormaymakesoundsthatarenotfamiliartoyou.Mostofthenewsoundsare
normal.Hardsurfaceslikethefloororwallscanmakethesoundsseemlouderthantheyactuallyare.The
followingdescribesthekindsofsoundsthatmightbenewtoyouandwhatmaybemakingthem.
• Rattlingnoisesmaycomefromtheflowoftherefrigerantorthewaterline.
• Itemsstoredontopoftherefrigeratorcanalsomakenoises.
• Thehighefficiencycompressormaymakeapulsatingorhigh‐pitchedsound.
• Theinternalfanwillrunfrequentlytocreateaconsistentinternaltemperatureenvironment.
• Waterrunningfromtheevaporatortothewaterbinmaymakeasplashingsound.
• Aseachcycleends,youmayhearagurglingsoundduetotherefrigerantflowinginyouroutdoor
refrigerator.
• Youmayhearairbeingforcedoverthecondenserbythecondenserfan.
