Note: Generally, the synchronous line parameter settings are the same for both
a DDN X.25 link and a BFE X.25 link. However, if your operating
environment has specific needs, you may want to edit synchronous line
parameters. For instructions, see Configuring WAN Line Services.
Table 4-1. BFE X.25 Packet-Level Parameter Settings

DDN IP Address Specify the IP address assigned to your BFE
connection.

Default Tx/Rx Window Size Range is 2 to 7. This setting should match the default
value configured in the BFE. This value should be
coordinated with the X.25 service record value.
Default Tx/Rx Packet Length Options include 128, 256, 512, and 1024. This setting
should match the default value configured in the BFE.

Number of incoming SVC
channels
Zero (0). BFE does not support the one-way logical
channel incoming facility.
Incoming SVC LCN Start Parameter is ignored.
Number of outgoing SVC
channels
Any valid nonzero setting.

Number of outgoing SVC
channels
Zero (0). BFE does not support the one-way logical
channel outgoing facility.
