Enabling and Disabling NAT on the Router
You can use the BCC or Site Manager to enable or disable NAT on the router.
Using the BCC
To enable or disable NAT on a router, navigate to the global NAT prompt (for
example,
box; ip; nat
) and enter:
state

state
is one of the following:
enabled
(default)
disabled
Using Site Manager
To enable or disable NAT on a router, complete the following tasks:
Site Manager Procedure

1. In the Configuration Manager window,
choose
Protocols
.
The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose
IP
. The IP menu opens.
3. Choose
NAT
. The NAT menu opens.
4. Choose
Global
. The NAT Base Group Record window
opens.
5. Set the
Enable
parameter. Click on
Help
or see the parameter description on page
A-8.
6. Click on
OK
. You return to the Configuration Manager
window.
