Corrective Actions:
Call the administrator of the remote module.
Wait for the signal to return.
Troubleshooting X330W-2USP
You can obtain statistical information regarding module performance, error rates,
and DTE/DCE signal statuses using the
show interfaces command. X330W-2USP
does not indicate a failure via alarm LEDs.
X330W-2USP provides error messages in the following situations:
Cable connection fault - When there is a fault with the cable connections or
when a DCE cable is connected. Check the cables and connections.
Host communication fault - When the X330WAN can not establish a
connection with the host P330 switch. In this case, verify that the appropriate
software versions are installed in the host P330 switch.
If X330WAN (or the connected DCE) reports data errors (CRC, etc.), there might
exist a phase shift between the data and the accompanying clock. In this case use the
invert txclock command to invert the transmit clock signal (TxC) from the DCE.
Using Loopbacks
The X330W-2DS1 module supports the following loopback types:
Diag Loopback (E1/T1) - The X330W-2DS1 CPU instructs the Line Framer to
create a loop towards the CPU. A Blue Alarm (AIS) is sent on the line to the peer
module. The Diag Loopback is illustrated in Figure 5.1.

Local Line Loopback (E1/T1) - The X330W-2DS1 Line Framer creates a loop on
the line towards the peer module. The Local Line Loopback is illustrated in
Figure 5.2.
