Moving an Entire RAID Array to Another Chassis
This topic contains information on how to move an entire RAID array to another chassis.

Before you perform this procedure, you must take your system off air, and power it down.
This procedure enables you to relocate your media drives from one AirSpeed 5000 server chassis
to another, and the steps for getting the drives back “Online” in the new chassis.

All screen examples in this procedure depict 4 channel model servers. Although, the screen
examples are different. the basic procedure for moving entire RAID arrays to another chassis is
the same for 2 channel model servers.
To move an entire RAID array to another chassis:
1. Power down the AirSpeed 5000 server.
2. Remove all of the media drives from the old chassis.
3. Insert all of the media drives into the new chassis. For more information, see the topic
