The following table describes the fields used on the Playback page.
Field Description
PLAYBACK In the PLAYBACK area, enter the Playback information for each channel.
- Show First of Next For each Channel 1-4, that you want to exhibit Show First of Next behavior, do
the following:
If the check box is selected, the Show First of Next behavior only takes effect
if there is a cued clip at the time of play completion. Note the following:
- If there is a cued clip at the time of play completion, the cued clip’s first
playable frame appears on the Output monitor.
- If there is no cued clip at the time of play completion, the currently
playing clip will default to what is selected in the drop-down menu,
regardless of whether the check box is selected.
- For cases where there is no prior clip loaded, the Preset/Cue option can
be selected in the Protocol Setup dialog box for VDCP to show the first
frame of the next clip. For more information regarding Preset/Cue, see
The VDCP Page.
If the check box is not selected, the first frame of the next clip will not
display if there is a cued clip at the time of play completion.
- On End of Clip Select the behavior that you want this channel to exhibit when playback stops.
The following options are available:
Show Last Frame - When selected, and the playing clip stops, the last frame
of the clip will be displayed on the Output.
Show Black - When selected, and the playing clip stops, a black frame will
be displayed on the Output.
- Output Ancillary
Data
For each channel 1-4, check this box to allow the ancillary data to be played out
from the AirSpeed 5000 server.
- VITC Playback Line For each channel 1-4, select the VITC playback line number in which you want
to output VITC timecode.

For NTSC, VITC playback is supported on Lines 12-19.

For PAL, VITC playback is supported on Lines 9-22.
- SD AFD Playback
Line
For each channel 1-4, select the SD AFD playback line number in which you
want to output SD AFD timecode.

For NTSC, SD AFD playback is supported on Lines 12-19.

For PAL, SD AFD playback is supported on Lines 9-22.
